About

This small vineyard and winery, owned and operated by the Vandendriessche family, is situated in the southern foothills of the Stag’s Leap Range rising above the Napa Valley. Their philosophy is that uncompromising grape growing and diligent winemaking lead to balanced wines that express the true character of this special vineyard. In 1977, they set out to revive White Rock Vineyards where a vineyard and winery had been established in 1870 by Dr. J Pettingill.

The original stone winery still stands after being converted into a residence in the 1920s. Today, the wines are made in an underground cave, dug in 1988 from the same white volcanic rock that characterizes the vineyards.
