Since its foundation in 1875, the domain located in the heart of the Vouvray appellation has grown with five generations, thus steadily expanding from 5 to 33 acres. Thanks to its family structure, it has been made possible to pass on all previous experience of vineyard growing and wine making processes.

That is how the Vigneau-Chevreau family have succeeded in its history to insure the domain lasting quality by expanding it, modernising it, taking the means to pass it on to the successive generations and still enabling today purchases like the one of the historical vineyard of Marmoutier Abbey, the cradle of Vouvray appellation wines.

The 33 acres of the domain are located in 4 out of the 8 villages which make up the appellation surface, thus giving complexity and intensity to its wines thanks to the quality of its land and its orientation.

Thus, since 1995, the domain conversion to the bio dynamic process has helped to reinforce the life of the land in its characteristics, banishing all the chemical products from the domain.
