Didier Meuzard has been producing brandies, ratafia, eaux de vie and liquors for decades from Burgundian fruit. What makes his work so special is that Didier is one of the few distillers who were given the right to tow his still through the vineyards. During the harvest season, Didier takes his stills to the renowned villages of Côtes de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey Saint Denis. From these prestigious winegrowing regions, the wine producers bring him their fresh musts and freshly fermented wine that he pours into his traditional portable copper alembic, that dates back to 1902, for distillation on site. The brandies are then aged in oak casks for decades.
