Domaine Select Wine & Spirits is proud to say that we had an extremely successful weekend during Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, please see the highlights below:
Thursday we had a special participation in two annual events – the Yacht party at the Limelight hotel featuring Remirez de Ganuza, Vinas del Sol, Amaro Lucano and Don Ciccio & Figli as well as the Magnum Party, hosted on the recently opened Shlomo’s Bar. The 1.5L bottles of Ogier, Gonet, Fondreche, Borgogno and Dehours were featured and enjoyed at the opening event of Food & Wine.
Following the party, we had our Diplomatico Suite opening after party – customers, media and more enjoyed cocktails made by our colleague and favorite bartender,Tad Carducci.
Friday was the day when all the official activities started – our products were not only being featured in 6 different seminars around town, but we had two different tables at the Food & Wine tent at Wagner Park: Diplomatico Rum and Domaine Select Wine & Spirits (which featured our consumer focused brands Fantinel, Domaine du Tariquet, Primaterra, Quattro Mani, Casa E di Mirafiore, Chapoutier Chef Series, Black Cottage, Leth, Manos Negras, Collemassari, La Maialina, Gia as well as Remirez de Ganuza and Vinas del Sol).
That afternoon we also enjoyed Diplomatico cocktails at Hooch, a very cool account in Aspen. We had another great night at the Diplomatico suite following the happy hour, entertaining our customers and tasting our top quality products.
Saturday we hosted a special lunch for various buyers and distributors at Casa Tua, featuring Remirez de Ganuza and Vinas del Sol. The food and wines pairing were fantastic, and having the suppliers Luis Alberto Martinez and Sergio Salgado in attendance and sharing their passion and enthusiast, trully reflects what DSWS is all about.
We had another great Diplomatico happy hour at the famous Jimmy’s Bodega featuring Tad’s cocktails once again. The place was packed and people were excited to have the opportunity of spending time with Jose Rafael Ballesteros, owner of Diplomatico.
The after party at the suite that same night was even more incredible and we received the presence of some really special industry people. Besides the popular cocktails, everyone tasted our wide array of champagne, barolos (with the special presence of Andrea Cravero from Fontana Fredda) and many other special wines. (Which were also available all day at the suite for customer’s visits)
Sunday was the time to say goodbye to the tent and our suite, but the weekend didn’t end there – our team visited some other great accounts the rest of the day and ended the night with a special homemade dinner celebrating our incredibly successful weekend!
I would like to thank everyone involved with the planning and execution of this event – we could not have done it without you!! Another year of hard work that paid off, and we are proud to say that our company continues to exceeds expectations and our events remain the most talked about parties of Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.
